Intervention Pantry™ is Chalk & Eraser’s targeted literacy intervention curriculum for grades 3–12. Built on the same Science of Reading-aligned foundation as Flavorful Foundations®, it helps teachers address specific literacy gaps with focused, structured support.

The system includes six targeted intervention shelves: phonological awareness, phonics and decoding, fluency, comprehension, academic vocabulary, and written language mechanics. Each shelf includes 15 lessons per grade level, for a total of 90 lessons, with tri-level differentiated passages built into instruction.

Placement is guided by the Flavor Gauge™ screener, administered three times per year. Students are routed to targeted support based on their needs, helping teachers provide focused intervention instead of one-size-fits-all remediation.

Intervention Pantry can work alongside Flavorful Foundations® or as a standalone intervention system for schools, districts, microschools, and homeschool settings.
