Seasoned Verse is Chalk & Eraser’s poetry-based language and literary study system. Built within the Flavorful Foundations® curriculum, it helps students study grammar, structure, word choice, literary elements, and meaning through poetry.

Students use poetry to examine how language works in context. They look closely at syntax, figurative language, rhythm, tone, structure, and author’s craft while connecting those choices to meaning.
